What is Lohr?

There’s something about stories that linger long after the telling. You can’t get them out of your head. 

Even after the screen is off or the book is closed, the characters continue to speak. Their world, it would seem, presses into our ordinary lives.

Their stories live with us. They sit beside us in the car. They join us in our cubicle. They sneak up on us in waiting rooms. The stories we love are the imaginary friends of the 21st century adult.

Welcome to LOHR. We are creators who want to share the presence that stories bring to us.

Our Mission

Our mission is to explore the human condition through the art of storytelling:

2. What it means to become whole

We at LOHR have a passion for creating stories that resonate.

But with the expansion of technology and creative voices, our global culture has only become more “storied.” Long gone are the days of “the village storyteller” (now there are MANY storytellers). Indeed, many of us have felt it: the paradox of choice. The more options there are, the less we’re able to choose.

Yet here we are, offering more options into this “noise.” Who are we to presume our stories are worth your time and money?

First, the stories themselves come first. We believe storytellers exist to tell stories that need to be told, not just stories that will sell.

Second, we believe stories serve a greater purpose than mere entertainment. They’re meant to magnify the human experience and encourage us onward and upward in our pursuit of wholeness.

With that daunting standard before us, we take great care in what we produce. We humbly ask for your support as we venture forward.
